How bands got there names

My first favorite band waz a punk-rock band named "Blink 182". My current favorite band is "The Offspring" I have cool Blink182 and offspring quiz's below! I also got some cool info and pic's

Blink-182 is a three piece perverted punk band from San Diego, California. Mark Hoppus (27, bass, vocals) plays bass and sings most of the songs while Tom DeLonge (24, guitar, vocals) plays guitar and sings when Mark isn't. Travis Barker is the drummer and took the place of former drummer Scott Raynor who is now in the band The Axidentals. Blink-182 formed awhile ago in 1994 and has put out numerous 7" along with two full length CD's "Chesire Cat" and "Dude Ranch". Blink-182 has gained much attention in the Warped Tour and tours heavily all over the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Blink-182 writes songs that relate to kids and problems that they may face. They aren't your typical three piece punk band that writes about politics. This sounds all too mature for Blink-182...
