      Most Stolen Cars

This list of the most stolen cars in 2002 was compiled by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), which is a not-for-profit organization financed by auto insurers. They monitor every report of a stolen car. These cars below have been stolen the most in 2002 in the U.S

From this list of stolen cars, the most recent models are put on the market once again after some slight modifications to conceal the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Older models are stolen so that the parts can be distributed among unscrupulous mechanics who then install them in your car, passing them off as brand-new and making a hefty profit in the process. Toyota and Honda parts are especially in great demand since they fit different models of their make. So if you own a Toyota or Honda, try and keep it in a safe place.

    The new ferrari
Ferrari has unveiled a new luxury flagship with four seats and a cool name: the 612 Scaglietti. The car I think looks like the ferrrari "360" but anyway this new ferrari has a lot more to it then just looks! The 612 Scaglietti follows Ferrari's plan that its regular run of production cars should be made in aluminium - race-derived models, such as the Enzo. Like its predecessor, the elegant 456GT, the 612 was designed by Pininfarina. It has a much longer wheelbase to allow an impressively large bonnet as well as adequate cabin space for four people. The engine is a development of the 5.7 liter V12 from the 575 Maranello, giving 540bhp. With a 0-62mph time of about 4sec and a top speed "over 196mph", the 612 Scaglietti matches the performance of the two-seater 575.
Sergio Scaglietti is an 83-year-old coachbuilder who hand-formed the bodies for some of Enzo Ferrari's very first road cars and shaped such famous models as the Testarossa sports racer and the original GTO.
In 1970 he sold his business to Ferrari. The aluminium body of the 612 is made in the Scaglietti factory in Modena, and Luca di Montezemolo, the Ferrari president, decided that the new 2+2-seater model should carry the name of one of the marque's most important backroom boys.

Leave it to Porsche to create a little piece of heaven and call it the Carrera 4S. The updated 3.6-liter boxer engine is rich in power over the entire rev band, and feedback--through the steering, throttle, and shift lever--is spot on. What else would you expect from a $90,000 car? We're having trouble getting used to the excessive engine clatter at cold startup, but the exhaust's song at full throttle reminds us that this was indeed engineered by people who are in love with automobiles. So far, there are no problems to report--except for the waiting list to snag a weekend in our C4S. If you want a fast car, you got another choose, It can hit from 0 to 60mph in 4.6 seconds.

Most Expensive Cars

Most Expensive Cars in the World

This isn't actually the top ten list of the most expensive cars. That would basically be a bunch of Ferraris, Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and only a few other makes. So instead here are the highest-dollar cars of each of ten carmakers (no manufacturer got two slots). Sorry, but the prices also depend on the year it was made, I did not include the years.

Ferrari Enzo Coupe - $643,330

Saleen S7 - $395,000

Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible - $363,990

Bentley Azure Convertible Mulliner - $376,485

Lamborghini Murciélago - $273,000

Aston Martin Vanquish - $228,000

Porsche GT2 - $180,665

BMW Z8 - $130,645

Mercedes-Benz CL 600 - $119,595

Jaguar XKR 100 Coupe and Convertible - $99,330

Dodge Viper GTS -$92,225

Everything about the new Saleen S7 must be placed in context. Which is easy since the car has no direct competitors and its $395,000 pricetag ensures it'll be sold to wealthy collectors, entertainers, and pro athletes for whom cost is no object. That frees us from those pesky judgments about value for money. If you have the means to add an S7 to your fleet, you could probably afford several; and if its Le Mans-comes-to-Main Street formula appeals to you, it won't matter what anyone else says. So you, and we, will invent the standards for judging this car as we go along. Go to S.K.2 to see a pic of the S7.
$395,000
it takes to buy one
427: Cubic inches of engine displacement
550: Engine output in horsepower
1270: Pounds lighter than a Lambo Murcielago
Less than 4: Seconds required to run 0-60
